It is blueberry season which means across the South you will find blueberry farms that are ripe for picking. Make an adventure out of it and take the family for the tastiest, freshest blueberries.
Blueberry Mojito
1/4 cup blueberries
6-10 fresh mint leaves
1 lime, juiced and zested
3 oz white rum
1 oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur (you can use St. Germain or 1 jigger simple syrup)
Club Soda
Mint to garnish
Directions:
In a cocktail shaker, muddle blueberries and mint leaves with lime juice and lime zest. Add ice to shaker along with rum and St. Germain. Shake vigorously. Strain mixture over ice into a highball glass. (I like some of the mint pieces in my drink so I do pour some of them in my glass.) Top with club soda and stir. Garnish with mint.
